Vintage Style Lab Flask Terrarium DIY kit with all you need
Create your self-contained ecosystem with beautiful plants and lush, handpicked Highland Moss moss. Ideal for beginners and kids, will help you to create a thriving ecosystem with easy to follow steps. Each kit includes also beautifully illustrated care guides which will help you to take care of your freshly made terrarium.
You will receive everything you need to make your terrarium at home:
- Eco glass large container with cork lid +/- 22cm x 26cm in shape of a vintage lab flask
- Our special terrarium mix potting blend
- Fresh sphagnum moss
- Selection of 2 beautiful plants suitable for a terrarium
- Selection of terrarium moss
- Clay pebbles
- Illustrated step-by-step instructions and care advice
As we work with fresh plants and moss, varieties may vary slightly depending on availability. Our eco-glass containers may include air bubbles or subtle imperfections, adding to the character and individuality of each piece.
You can create the terrarium using a selection of our terrarium tools. You can also add springtails and isopods to your terrarium to create a bioactive environment.
Plants will be selected randomly from our terrarium plants stock and may include:
- Calathea
- Fern
- Pilea
- Peperomia
- Begonia
- Fittonia
- Hypoestes
- Selaginella
- and more!
You will receive 2 plants to create a beautiful terrarium at your home.
Moss which you will be using on the top of the container will be also selected from our fresh stock and may vary depending on what we collected! Please clean and make sure is moist before use.
Pictures represent different combinations of plants, please use them as an example. Tools, wood, cork, decorative stones or mini figures not included.
- How often should I water my terrarium?
- Watering should be minimal as terrariums often sustain a moist environment internally. A light misting every 2-4 weeks is sufficient. Always ensure the soil is not soggy to prevent root rot.

- Yes, you can personalise your terrarium with additional decorations like decorative stones, mini figures, or wood. Ensure any added plants are suitable for high humidity environments and won’t overcrowd the space.
