Hoya linearis Wax Plant
Hoya linearis is an elegant and unusual trailing houseplant with slender, soft green leaves that gently cascade over the edges of pots and hanging baskets. Unlike other Hoyas, its leaves are narrow and slightly fuzzy, giving it a unique texture and soft appearance. With time and care, this plant can produce clusters of fragrant white star-shaped flowers.
Add delicate, trailing charm to your home with the Variegated String of Hearts, a much-loved variety of Ceropegia woodii featuring soft pink, cream, and green heart-shaped leaves. This elegant plant is non-toxic to pets, making it a great choice for animal-friendly homes and collections.
Schlumbergera, also known as the Thanksgiving Cactus and a close cousin of the Christmas Cactus and Easter Cactus, is a colourful, easy-care houseplant that adds a bright pop of colour indoors. This pet-friendly cactus prefers bright, indirect light and a well-draining potting mix. Water lightly, letting the compost dry out slightly between waterings.
Why people love Thanksgiving cactus
Please note: plants are sent in mixed stages of bloom. Some may arrive in flower, some just finishing, and others ready to bud. Flower colours can vary slightly, and photos show examples of our current stock.
Epiphyllum ‘Leon Herrick’ is a beautiful trailing jungle cactus with long, flat green stems that create a soft, flowing look. Unlike desert cacti, this species naturally grows in tropical environments, making it well suited to indoor conditions.
Its elegant trailing growth makes it ideal for hanging pots or placing on shelves where the stems can cascade naturally. With the right care, Epiphyllum can also produce large, fragrant flowers, adding even more interest to this unusual houseplant.
Easy to care for and fast growing, it is a great choice for beginners as well as experienced plant collectors.
Looking for affordable houseplants? Our houseplant cuttings by post are a simple and budget friendly way to grow your plant collection. Instead of buying mature plants, you receive fresh unrooted cuttings ready to propagate at home. This propagation starter pack is ideal for beginners learning how to root plants in water, sphagnum moss, or soil, and for collectors who want more plants for less.
This is a popular alternative to buying expensive mature houseplants and one of the easiest ways to start an indoor jungle.
Each starter pack contains a handpicked mystery selection of fresh cuttings taken from our healthy mother plants and prepared to order.
Fill your brightest rooms with full light level plants that love strong sun and thrive on south- or west-facing windowsills. These sun-lovers soak up 4–6+ hours of direct light, rewarding you with sturdy growth, vivid colour, and (for some) blooms.
Place plants within 0-1m of the window, rotate weekly for even growth, and water when the soil has dried through – good drainage is essential. If midday rays are intense, a sheer curtain helps prevent leaf scorch. Feed lightly in spring and summer to keep growth vibrant.
Great choices for full light include cacti and succulents (aloe, jade, echeveria), ponytail palm, croton, and other bright-light varieties. Each plant is quality-checked and carefully packed so it arrives ready to settle into your sunniest spot.
