I would like to introduce Gary. He is a very unusual Gynura Aurantiaca from Southeast Asia. He is also known as a Purple Passion or Purple Velvet plant due to his incredible green leaves covered in vibrant purple hairs which gives the impression of a soft velvety texture.
You will receive one plant in a 12 cm nursery pot.
How to look after Gary
Gary will thrive in a bright spot. Keep his soil slightly moist but not soggy, but Gary will also tolerate being dry for some time so if you forget to water him, he still will be fine. Gary doesn’t like water on his leaves so try to water under leaves or use the bottom watering technique. Fertilise every 2-3 weeks during spring and summer and once a month during winter.
This is a beautiful Hoya, much like our popular Silver Splash but a slight variation. It is difficult to tell the two apart, the underside of the leaves on this plant are not so mottled with splashes. She is a real beauty with a dense foliage of pointed, speckled leaves.
I would like to introduce Winston, he is a Hoya Wayetii with beautiful long, thin leaves. With a nicely lit environment his leaves will turn red in time. He is a perfect plant for trailing, climbing and hanging.
You will receive one plant in a 12 cm nursery pot. We have lots of beautiful planters available in our shop to pair with him!
I would like to introduce Krystine, the Hoya Krimson Queen – also known as the wax plant.
She has beautiful green and cream variegated leaves. She may grow pink leaves too! These plants are a variation of the Hoya Carnosa Tricolor and the variegation gives them a striking, sharp appearance which is simply stunning.
