Our General Purpose Potting Soil is a versatile, high-quality, peat-free compost suitable for a wide variety of indoor and outdoor plants and herbs. Whether you’re potting houseplants, gardening on your patio, or planting trees and shrubs, this soil provides the ideal foundation for all your planting needs.
Perlite is a naturally occurring mineral, a mined volcanic rock. Perlite pearls are fluffy, lightweight, and extremely porous, with an amazing ability to retain water. Additionally, perlite improves aeration, helps loosen the soil, provides excellent drainage, and prevents soil compaction.
It is ideal as a component of soil for Aroids, Calathea, Carnivorous plants, Succulents, and cacti. Perlite can be used in potting mixes for indoor and outdoor plants, creating a loose growing medium. It has a neutral pH of 7-7.5 is suitable for propagating cuttings and can be used in seeding trays.
