Staghorn Fern Platycerium Bifurcatum Lava Rock Bonsai

One of our bestsellers: Platycerium bifurcatum, commonly known as Staghorn  Fern on a lava rock. The plant can be grown as an epiphyte or lithophyte. The display on the lava rock is very unusual and will make an amazing gift for a plant lover or for yourself 😉

This time paired with our hand-picked, live sphagnum moss! The moss will keep the lava stone moist for longer and grow at your home. You may receive moss separately to set up at home if purchased online to avoid damages during the transport. You can also choose to not add the moss if you prefer.

Epiphyte are plants that grow on another plant and use it as a host to receive nutrients and moisture.

Lithophyte are plants that grow on rocks, cliff faces and edges of stone formations and do not need soil to thrive. 

The plant will enjoy bright spots but will be also fine in medium light. Water regularly to keep the moss and lava rock moist.

You can trim stems and roots if grow too long to maintain the bonsai look.

This low-maintenance and air-purifier houseplant can tolerate a very low level of sunlight.

This plant loves high humidity and will thrive in shaded spots.
