This is Haworthia Cymbiformis called also the glass succulent because its amazing look is very unique and should be in the collection of every succulents lover. Edges of leaves are translucent hence the other name of this plant  “see-through succulent”.

The plant grows very slowly and requires minimum attention.

This plant is perfect for a mini bowl garden, you will need only a bowl, succulent soil, clay pebbles, and decorations like cork, wood or pebbles to create your own mini garden! Why not add also some preserved moss and more succulents and cacti?

Pet Friendly

How often should I water my Haworthia Cymbiformis?
Water sparingly, allowing the soil to completely dry out between waterings. During winter, reduce watering to once a month or less, depending on humidity levels in your home.
Is the Haworthia Cymbiformis suitable for offices or low light environments?
Yes, this plant thrives in both full and medium light settings, making it ideal for office environments or areas in your home that receive indirect sunlight.
Can I plant my Haworthia Cymbiformis with other succulents?
Absolutely! This succulent pairs well with other low-maintenance plants like cacti and different succulent species, making it perfect for creating a diverse mini bowl garden.

☀️ Light

☀️☀️▫️ (Medium)

The Haworthia Cymbiformis thrives in medium light conditions. It prefers bright, indirect sunlight but can tolerate some direct sun. Avoid placing it in very dark corners where light is minimal.

💧 Water

💧▫️▫️ (Low)

This succulent requires minimal watering. Allow the soil to completely dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so less is more with this plant.

🌡️ Temperature

🌡️🌡️▫️ (Average)

Haworthia Cymbiformis enjoys typical indoor temperatures, ideally between 18°C to 24°C. It can tolerate a bit cooler temperatures during the winter, but keep it away from draughty windows.

💦 Humidity

💦▫️▫️ (Low)

Low humidity is perfect for this succulent. There’s no need for misting as it prefers the air on the drier side, much like its natural arid habitat.

🪴 Repotting

Repot your Haworthia every 2-3 years or when it outgrows its pot. Use a well-draining succulent soil mix to ensure proper drainage and prevent root rot. Make sure the new pot has drainage holes.

🐾 Pet Friendliness

This plant is safe for pets! You don’t have to worry about placing it within reach of cats or dogs.

✅🪴 Recommended Locations at Home

The ideal spots for Haworthia Cymbiformis are near east or south-facing windows where they can get plenty of light without direct sunlight. They’re also great for adding a touch of nature to your desk or shelves.

🌬️🪴 Air Purifying

While not known for its air-purifying abilities, its contribution to indoor air quality through transpiration helps add a bit of freshness to your space.

✨ Other Plant Features

The translucent edges of its leaves are not only a striking feature but also give it the nickname “see-through succulent”. Its slow growth and unique appearance make it a fascinating addition to any plant collection.
