The Rose of Jericho is one of the most fascinating plants in the world. Often called the Resurrection Plant, it can survive in a dry, dormant state for years and then appear to come back to life when placed in water.
When the plant is placed in a shallow dish of water, the dry ball slowly begins to open and the leaves start to turn green again. This unique behaviour has made the Rose of Jericho popular as a botanical curiosity and educational plant.
It also makes a thoughtful gift and a great conversation piece, as many people have never seen a plant revive in this way before.

Brighten rooms with steady, indirect light using our medium light level plants. These adaptable varieties thrive near east- or west-facing windows or a little back from stronger sun, giving you lush growth without demanding care.
Perfect for living rooms, kitchens, and workspaces, they handle a blend of natural and artificial light with simple routines – regular watering and occasional pruning. Each plant is quality-checked, carefully packed, and comes with clear care notes so it settles quickly into your home.
For best results, place your plants 1-2 metres from a bright window and avoid harsh midday sun. Water when the top layer of soil feels dry, rotate weekly for even growth, and feed lightly in spring and summer.
