Hyacinthus orientalis Mixed Bulb (Mixed Hyacinth)

Bring early spring colour and fragrance into your home or garden with a mixed Hyacinthus orientalis bulb. Hyacinths are classic flowering bulbs loved for their dense flower spikes and powerful sweet scent. Each bulb produces a compact plant topped with dozens of star shaped flowers in a surprise mix of colours such as pink, purple, blue, white or soft apricot tones.

🌱 Tip: Top dress the soil with preserved moss or our garden grade carpet moss for a clean, finished look and extra texture.

Perfect for windowsills, planters, gift pots or seasonal displays, hyacinths are very easy to grow and suitable for beginners as well as experienced growers. They can be grown indoors for early blooms or planted outdoors to flower in spring. Their strong fragrance makes them especially popular for hallways, kitchens and living spaces.

Bulbs will arrive dormant and ready to plant. Simply pot into a well draining compost and water lightly. Once shoots appear, place in a bright position and enjoy watching them develop quickly into flowering plants.

Planting Tips
Plant the bulb with the tip exposed slightly above the soil surface. Use a pot with drainage holes and avoid letting the bulb sit in standing water. After flowering, the foliage can be left to die back naturally to help the bulb store energy for next year if planted outdoors.
