Description

The key advantage of our Carnivorous Potting Mix lies in its nutrient-free composition. Carnivorous plants naturally inhabit regions with limited nutrient availability, relying on the insects they consume to fulfil their nutritional needs. By refraining from adding unnecessary nutrients, we prevent overwhelming the plants with an excess of substances like minerals and stronger fertilizers which they do not require.

In addition to being nutrient-free, our potting mix excels in providing excellent water retention. We have meticulously selected the finest ingredients, including Highland Moss sphagnum moss, perlite and coarse sand, to optimize the soil structure.

Thank you for your question. Yes, our soil mixes all all peat free, we use RHS approved soil for the base and then add our own components to make the perfect blend for all kinds of different plants.
