We will supply moss to fill:
4.5m2 of green sphagnum
4.5m2 of pink sphagnum
The exact species will be mixed. We will pick as much of the green sphagnum in “sheet” type pieces as possible. There may be some more loose sphagnum as well.
The pink sphagnum we pick does not typically grow this way, and so it will be loose moss.
We have conducted some tests to convert the area coverage into both volume (litres) and weight (kg) measurements.
This is how we have broken down these calculations:

Important note: Approximate weights are based on each 15L bag weighing around 5kg. Live sphagnum naturally varies in moisture level, density, and mat thickness, so the final weight and coverage may vary slightly.
