Lab Flask Peperomia and Fittonia Terrarium, Bioactive and Fully Assembled

Discover the beauty of a miniature living world with our Lab Flask Peperomia and Fittonia Terrarium, handcrafted in the Highland Moss workshop in Aberdeen. This unique, bioactive terrarium comes fully assembled and ready to enjoy, designed inside a distinctive lab-style glass flask (approx. 22 cm x 25 cm) with a natural cork lid.

This bioactive terrarium is designed to be self-sustaining and easy to care for. Simply unpack it, add any included decorative elements, and place it in a bright location out of direct sunlight.

Please note variety of Peperomia and Fittonia may vary, depending on our fresh stock.

Inside, a lush Peperomia grows alongside a vibrant Fittonia (Nerve Plant) and rich layers of ethically handpicked Scottish moss, featured at RHS Chelsea Flower Show and BBC Gardeners’ World gardens. The Fittonia may vary in colour, showing shades of red, pink or green, ensuring every terrarium is truly one of a kind.

To keep the ecosystem balanced and clean, we introduce springtails, tiny beneficial insects that naturally decompose organic matter and prevent mould, ensuring your terrarium stays fresh and self-sustaining.

Every order includes illustrated care guides and clear step-by-step instructions so you can maintain your terrarium with confidence and even learn how to create your own in the future.

Each terrarium is unique, with natural variations in plant arrangement, moss texture Peperomia variety and Fittonia colours. The Fittonia may come in shades of green, red or pink. Photos show examples, and the exact combination you receive will vary slightly, making every piece one of a kind.

If you’re ordering as a gift, we can include a complimentary handwritten card – simply leave your message in the order notes at checkout.

We carefully prepare each terrarium in our workshop and allow it to stabilise before dispatch. It will arrive fully established. If a plant dies within 14 days of delivery, please send us clear photos and we will offer a replacement of the same or a similar plant.
