What should I bring to the workshop?
Please come prepared with a notebook and pen for taking notes. All other materials for the workshop will be provided.
Is the workshop suitable for beginners?
Yes, our workshops are designed to accommodate plant enthusiasts of all skill levels, including beginners. We provide step-by-step guidance and support throughout the session.
How can I book a place in a workshop?
You can book your free slot by visiting our website. Navigate to the ‘Workshops’ category, select the session you are interested in, and follow the prompts to secure your place.
  • We carefully wrap every order using eco-friendly materials wherever possible.
  • We use the Royal Mail tracked 24 delivery service. You will get a tracking email once the order is dispatched.
  • Orders take 1 – 2 days processing time to send; orders placed before 1.30 pm are usually sent the same day.
  • We ship on Mondays and Wednesday – Friday.
  • Delivery is £6.95 per order, reduced to only £3.95 when you spend £20 or more.
  • Spend over £80 for free delivery!
  • Free collection from our shop in Aberdeen and local delivery available.

The workshop was absolutely fantastic. I had so much fun making my own terrarium and now I sit and look at it every day. The workshop was informative but also gave me plenty of chance to be creative. I thought it was excellent value for money too.

Fantastic workshop. I had a lot of fun and can’t wait for my terrarium to thrive. I also picked up a very cool cactus and got great info on when and how to water.

Found Highland Moss through Instagram about a year ago, but only visited for the first time this January. The price of the workshop was a bit steep for me, but my mom offered to pay for me as a New Year`s present, and I am so grateful she did!!! I had a FANTASTIC time, and honestly, having done the workshop, I think the price is so worth it and will be saving up for another visit. The owners, who are also the `instructors`, are lovely people. They had two dogs, but kindly agreed to take them away from the shop for me as I am extremely scared of all dogs, unfortunately. The workshop was fun, relaxing and educational. We weren’t so much instructed as lightly guided through the assembly process; each step and component was explained in simple terms, so we knew the reasoning behind it. Overall, I highly recommend giving it a go to anyone who is on the fence about it!

We both left very happy each with a terrarium planted up with a good variety of plants (and small additions) and the gained knowledge of how to continue to maintain it in good condition.

    What a fantastic workshop. So knowledgeable and very helpful. Had a lovely time and learned a lot. Beautiful shop, 2 very well behaved dogs and gorgeous plants. A very harmonious environment.
