Description

Keep in a full sun but protect from a strong mid-day sun during summer which may burn young leaves. Can keep indoors all year around and outdoors when temperatures reach 15-20 degrees. Keep the soil slightly moist all the time.

Prune the plant regularly to keep its size and shape. When new 5-10 new leaves grow, prune back to 2-3 leaves to reduce the size of leaves. Thin branches can be bent to get the desired shape.

Water

Water when the top few cm are dry, let it soak through and leave it until it dries out again. Don't leave her sitting in water.

Thank you for your question. Based on our research this Bonsai (Metasequoia) is non toxic and fine around pets. I have updated our listing to show this now.
