Pilea Hitchcockii is a unique and relatively new houseplant on the marker with deep dark almost silvery-black leaves . This cousin of more well-known Pilea peperomioides is very easy to care for and pet-friendly! This plant is perfect for terrariums, workplaces and living spaces. Looks beautiful as a single, statement plant or as a part of a more extensive collection.

The unusual colour of the leaves: black with a shiny silver line, making the plant a popular choice for housewarming, birthday and Christmas gifts and Halloween.

Water when the soil dries out, do not mist leaves. Keep in a bright spot, away from direct sunlight. This plant is perfect for terrariums, you can plant Pila plant cuttings or divide the plant to give a splash of colour and texture to your closed or open container.
