Philodendron Melanochrysum Black Gold
Beautiful Philodendron melanochrysum native to the tropical regions of South America, also known as Black Gold Philodendron is a studding variety of philodendrons with velvety green, shimmery leaves. The name “melanochrysum” is derived from Greek, where “melano” means black, and “chrysum” refers to gold, which describes its large dark green, velvet leaves. The common name is also Black Gold.
The plant belongs to the Araceae family, which includes many other popular houseplants like philodendrons, monsteras, and anthuriums. These plants are well-known for their attractive foliage, lush green colours and ability to purify indoor air.
