A fantastic everbearing variety producing sweet, bright red fruits from early summer. ‘Ostara’ has a vigorous spreading habit, ideal for raised beds, hanging baskets, and climbing frames. It also supports biodiversity as an plants for pollinators selection, providing nectar and pollen for bees and other beneficial insects.
A much-loved continental favourite that performs brilliantly in the UK. This upright, vigorous grower produces an abundance of blossoms and runners, with heavy crops of sweet, soft-fleshed berries. It’s low maintenance and suitable for outdoor beds or large containers.

Compact and neat, with dark green foliage and fewer runners, this variety focuses energy on fruiting. Strawberries need 6–8 hours of bright, direct light daily. A sunny windowsill may work, but most indoor growers benefit from using a full-spectrum grow light to ensure consistent fruiting.
Use a pot with good drainage, ideally 15–20cm deep. Hanging baskets, window boxes, or standard pots are all suitable for growing strawberries indoors.
For best results, use a light, nutrient-rich, and well-draining compost.

Strawberries grow best in temperatures between 16–24°C. Keep them away from cold drafts and direct heat sources like radiators.
Use a liquid organic feed or fruiting plant fertiliser every 2–3 weeks during active growth.
