Ficus Sweetheart Variegated Triangle Fig Plant

Ficus triangularis ‘Sweetheart’, also known as Variegated Triangle Fig or Sweetheart Ficus, is a beautiful indoor plant with heart-shaped, triangular leaves edged in soft cream and patterned with deep green variegation. Its upright, branching growth gives it a mini-tree look, making it ideal for shelves, side tables, plant stands, offices and bright living spaces.

This plant is a lovely choice if you want something a little different from the usual ficus. The variegated foliage makes every leaf unique, while the compact bushy shape gives the plant a full and decorative appearance. For the best colour, place it in bright, indirect light and avoid very dark corners, as lower light can reduce variegation and slow growth.

Ficus triangularis ‘Sweetheart’ prefers a warm, stable spot away from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes. Let the top section of soil dry before watering again, and avoid leaving it sitting in water. If repotting, use a free-draining houseplant potting mix, such as Highland Moss premium houseplant mix, to help keep the roots healthy.
