We are very excited to introduce our new range of dripcups, designed exclusively for our extendable moss pole range!
These have been made by local product designer Ben Durack in small batches. They are made out of a bio based (cornstarch) plastic and are completely recyclable (although we hope you keep your dripcup for a long time).
To use them, simple push it gently onto the top of your moss pole, onto the wooden part. Then fill the cup with water and it will slowly drip into the moss. It takes around 10 minutes to empty.
These truly are game changers for our moss poles. We have always offered tips on how to keep the moss moist, but it can be tricky depending on your environment. Now, even if the moss has dried out, it will soak up the water and come to life once again.
Please read on below to see our instructions and care guide.

This dripcup helps you keep your moss poles moist by slowly dripping water into the moss. It takes around 10 minutes for the cup to empty.
Simply push the dripcup on top of your moss pole, try to get the moss pole as straight as possible. Pour water into the cup and that is it. Take care not to push the cup down hard or you may damage it.
Refill as required, when the pole is starting to dry out. If your pole has already dried out then you may wish to use a few refills of the dripcup to get it soaked through again.
You do not need to touch the little screw on the inside. This is in place to control the flow of water but if left loose, the water will release freely and quickly.Â
Please note our dripcup is designed just for our extendable moss poles.Â
If the cup is a little loose on top of the pole, you can put a few layers of cling film around the wood until it fits perfectly. Please also let us know if this is the case.
These can be adapted to attach to any moss pole, potentially with a little DIY. Michael from our team made one work with his by plugging the dripcup
Do not put the dripcup in a dishwasher. The dripcup may be damaged by hot water.
Simply rinse with lukewarm water and soap if required. You can remove the inner screw and reinsert if needed.
In keeping with our eco conscious ethos, the dripcups have been manufactured locally and use a plant based (cornstarch) plastic.
As these are being made in small batches, please note there may be some light markings and odd fibres from the manufacturing process, all part of their charm!Â
This is a new product that we have designed and produced. We have tested several prototypes but we know to always expect the unexpected with a new product launch. As such, we are hugely thankful for any feedback we can get so that we can keep improving the dripcups.

Works really well but need to screw it on tight or the water flows too fast.

This product is fantastic! No matter what I did I just couldn’t keep my moss pole damp and it was feeling like a bit of a battle, spraying, and full soaking as it kept drying out. This is effortless with complete coverage of all of the moss. Perfect fit on the pole and not obtrusive to just leave on when not in use. Thank you!

Very easy to attach to the top of the moss pole and seems to be slowly releasing water to keep the moss damp. So far, so good.
So well designed!
