Saxifraga Stolonifera – Strawberry Begonia
The Strawberry Begonia (Saxifraga stolonifera) is a charming trailing houseplant known for its rounded green leaves with silver veining, deep red undersides, and its habit of producing long red runners topped with baby plantlets – just like a strawberry plant. Moss poles are the ultimate form of support for your plants. They are especially useful for any plants with aerial roots, such as Monsteras and Philodendrons as they emulate the natural jungle habitat. The roots will reach out and sink into the moist fresh moss pole and use it to grow bigger, better and stronger!
Every moss pole is handmade to order and very easy to install. Stick it in the soil and gently tie some of the provided jute string to your plant stem and pole to help them out.
These mini poles are great for your precious baby plants to encourage them to grow well.

Beginner friendly build
You can build this terrarium by hand, or use the included plastic spade to create clean layers. For extra precision placing moss and decorations, you can add long terrarium tweezers.
Make it bioactive
You can add 1oz of springtails to create a bioactive ecosystem inside your terrarium. Springtails are tiny clean up crew insects that help break down natural waste and can reduce the chance of mould. For best results, simply mix the springtails into the soil layer while building, then continue the rest of the steps as normal.
