The Alocasia is a beautiful houseplant with dark green. This native to the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia plant is also known as the Green Velvet Alocasia, New Guinea Shield and Elephant Ear plant.

As the Alocasia is a larger plant with bigger leaves, it is possible that there may be some cosmetic damage to the leaves. This is a common occurrence during the transport and handling of the plant. However, this does not affect the health of the plant.
