Saxifraga stolonifera is also known as creeping saxifrage, strawberry begonia, strawberry geranium, pink begonia, strawberry saxifrage, creeping rockfoil, Aaron’s beard, mother of thousands, roving sailor but it’s not related to begonia or geranium.

This beautiful plant is native to China, Japan and Korea and is relatively easy to care for. Needs a bright spot and plenty of water during the growing season but in winter you should let the soil dries out.

How should I water my Variegated Saxifraga Stolonifera during different seasons?: During the growing season, keep the soil evenly moist by watering frequently. However, in winter, reduce watering and allow the soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot.
Can this plant thrive in low light conditions?: Yes, it can adapt to low light, but it thrives best in medium light conditions. Place it in a bright spot without direct sunlight for optimal growth.
Is the Variegated Saxifraga Stolonifera suitable for homes with pets?: Yes, this plant is pet-friendly and safe for homes with animals. However, always ensure that pets do not chew on plants as a precaution.
