Thank you again for trusting us to supply moss at your RHS Chelsea Flower Show exhibit. We are very excited to see how it looks and hope it sets you apart from the competition!

We have agreed that you can pay for the moss order in 3 instalments with the final payment due before shipping the moss.

The moss is to be delivered to you by the 17th May

The agreed order is as follows:

• 1m2 Feather Moss – £200
• Total: £200

• The moss is picked from our private sites in the North East of Scotland. We get permission from landowners who use heavy machinery on these sites to pick the moss that would otherwise be disturbed or destroyed during these operations.
• The moss can be stored in its packaging for 5 days + in its packaging but we recommend you try to unwrap it and lay it out as soon as possible to prevent the colour fading.
• We brush and clean all of our moss before sending but as it is picked in the wild there still will be some sticks, needles etc within the moss. It is best not to completely strip this as the moss likes this environment too. But we do want to give a heads up that you may want to reserve some time for cleaning the moss further for presentation at the show.
• You can clean the cushion and feather moss by holding it in your hand upside down in a basin of water and rocking it around to release debris.
• For sheet moss, we use a soft brush and when the moss sheet holds together well, we also give it a gentle shake upside down.
• We usually lay our moss out on some pine bark which helps hold moisture and emulates the natural forest floor.
