This water monitor is a perfect tool for beginners and experienced gardeners who would like to check the water level in the plant’s soil before washing. This useful tool can help prevent overwatering sensitive to root rot plants. How to use:
- wipe the soil probe tip with a soft, dry cloth
- insert the metal probe tip to the roots level (it may vary depending on the size of the pot, for 12cm planters it will be around 6-10cm deep)
- wait until the hygrometer shows you the level of moisture: DRY-MOIST-WET
- remove the probe from the soil and clean it with a soft, dry cloth after using
Never place the probe directly in water or leave it in the soil for over 90 seconds. Does not require a battery.
