Fernwood Tree Fern Panels, known also as a Xaxim panels are an ecologically friendly, non-toxic background panels. Excellent for sub tropical and tropical terrarium, vivarium, green walls and other plant projects. Suitable for supporting epiphytes, orchids, bromeliads, climbing plants, vines and moss.
Sustainably manufactured in New Zealand. Sold in twin packs.
Description
Fern Panels unique and natural properties including:
- Durable, very strong panels will last years
- Panels size can be trim and cut into smaller pieces with a sharp tool
- Lightweight when dried.
- Natural, dark brown colour
- Easy to keep them damp using a drip or misting system.
- Soft and porous for plant roots to make them easily grow onto and into the fibre
- The excellent ability to hold moisture
- Good aeration within the fibre wall
- Natural capillary action, water flows down through the panel steadily without becoming water logged
