We offer a range of stunning preserved and softened Norwegian Reindeer Moss, which can be utilized in various creative applications such as moss walls, moss balls, succulents terrariums and moss art. This vibrant moss is available in multiple colours, adding a touch of colour to any craft project or display.
Preserved moss offers several advantages:
Another benefit of preserved moss is its lightweight nature, as it contains no water. This makes it easy to work with and suitable for various installations including attaching the moss to walls and frames.
It’s important to note that consistent exposure to bright sunlight may cause the moss to fade over time. Therefore, it’s advisable to keep it away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.
The moss is preserved but still natural, and may contain pine needles, small pieces of wood, or differences in colour.
Please note that the colours of our preserved Norwegian Reindeer Moss may vary slightly. Lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural colour variations can affect the perceived colour. We provide accurate representations, but exact colour matches cannot be guaranteed. The unique beauty and charm of the natural, preserved moss lie in its colour variations. We cannot offer refunds or exchanges based solely on colour discrepancies.

Q1: How should I store my preserved moss to ensure it lasts as long as possible?
A1: To maximise the lifespan of your preserved moss, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources, as prolonged exposure to bright conditions can cause the moss to fade.
Q2: Can I use this moss in a terrarium with live plants?
A2: While this moss is preserved and requires no watering, it can be used in terrariums for aesthetic purposes alongside live plants. However, ensure it does not come into direct contact with water or soil from the live plants to maintain its condition.
Q3: Is the preserved reindeer moss eco-friendly and sustainable?
A3: Yes, our preserved moss is a sustainable choice as it’s harvested in a way that allows for natural regeneration. It’s also long-lasting, reducing the need for frequent replacements, and is fully biodegradable.

Hi Beth,
Thank you for your question. Yes, the moss is preserved and totally dry. No watering is required. If you will be handling a lot, such as making moss art then we advise you wear some disposable gloves as the colouring can transfer to your skin (it is non toxic and easily washes off). Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Craig
