Philodendron Micans Velvet Heart 14cm pot

I would like to introduce Mac. He is a handsome Philodendron Micans with cute heart-shaped velvet leaves which vary from greens to beautiful pink and reddish. Mac is definitely one of the most colourful of all the vining type Philodendrons.

You will receive one plant in a 14cm pot, plants presented in the pictures are plants from our actual stock. There may be some cosmetic damage to leaves due to the fragile nature of the plant and its size.

How to look after Mac

Mac would enjoy a warm spot in bright indirect light and soil moisture all the time during spring and summer, just like a tropical canopy. During winter and autumn the soil should almost dry out between watering. To keep him super happy use house plant food every month. To prevent crispy edges of leaves maintain a higher level of humidity by putting the pot on a tray filled in with water and clay pebbles. Make sure that the pot does not touch the water.

Plant Pro Tips

If Mac gets yellow leaves he is getting too much light. If you notice that his stems are long, leggy and without many leaves move him closer to light because he is not getting enough.
