The Euphorbia Monadenium Guentheri has a unique, sculptural form and looks more like a modern architecture building than a houseplant! This succulent plant features unusual cylindrical, branching stems with a deep green hue, which looks like a snake hence the common name snake or a sausage plant. The stems may develop a reddish colour when exposed to lots of bright light, adding to its visual appeal.
Ideal for both beginners and experienced plant collectors, this Euphorbia variety is super easy to care for. It requires minimal watering and thriving neglected. Make sure to allows the soil dries out between waterings.
Euphorbia loves bright, indirect sunlight. A spot near a sunny window where it can bath in the morning or late afternoon direct sunlight would be perfect. Avoid direct midday sun, which may cause the leaves to scorch.
Like many houseplants, it helps purify the air in your home, making it not just beautiful but also beneficial. As with many Euphorbias, the sap can be irritating to a skin or eyes and toxic if ingested, so please handle it with care and keep away from pets and children.
