Can the Epiphyllum Anguliger be placed in direct sunlight?
Avoid direct sunlight as it may scorch the unusual zigzag stems of the plant. Indirect, bright light is ideal to keep it healthy and thriving.
Is this plant suitable for beginners and what care does it require?
Yes, it’s quite beginner-friendly. Ensure to water it weekly in summer and biweekly in winter, letting the topsoil dry out completely between waterings. It thrives in humid environments with temperatures between 18 to 24 °C, making kitchens and bathrooms ideal locations.
How do I manage watering to prevent root rot?
Allow any excess water to drain away after watering by ensuring the pot has good drainage. This prevents the roots from sitting in water, which can lead to root rot.
