This beautiful Calathea Rufibarba (Goeppertia rufibarba) is commonly known as velvet calathea, furry feather plant or wavestar would make a perfect statement plant for a room with low to medium light. This native to Brasil plant is well known for its velvety/fuzzy underleaf in deep mulberry colour.
This plant thrives in moderate to bright indirect light and prefers consistently moist soil during hot months and you can let the soil dries out between waterings in winter.
