How to use
-
Let the top 1 to 2 cm of soil dry. Lightly dust a thin, even layer over the soil surface and around the inner rim and drainage holes.

For hotspots, work a small pinch into just the top layer. Avoid burying delicate roots.

Reapply after each watering once the surface dries. Diatomaceous earth must be dry to be effective.

Improve drainage and avoid overwatering. For heavy infestations, repot into fresh mix. We recommend Highland Moss premium potting mix.
How does Diatomaceous Earth work?
Diatomaceous Earth is a naturally occurring sand extract that forms over millions of years. It has a high silica content that absorbs lipids and fats from the waxy outer layer of the exoskeletons of many species of insects. This kills the fungus gnat and keeps your plants happy.
Notes: DE acts as a desiccant and abrasive. It works only while dry and undisturbed.
