Pilea Alumi is a unique plant, commonly known as the Moon Valley Pilea or Pilea Mollis. This is because leaves have such a rough texture it is like craters on the moon! The plant is native to Central and South America. Easy to care, unique pet friendly houseplant. Suitable for terrariums and vivariums!

Thriving in bright indirect light, the Pilea Alumi Moon Valley is the perfect addition to your home or workplace. Water the plant when the top layer of soil becomes dry, and be sure to provide adequate drainage to prevent overwatering. This tropical plant will thrive in slightly higher humidity levels, making it a perfect choice for a terrarium. Please note that spraying leaves is not recommended. Water trapped on leaves can cause rot and brown patches.
