Philodendron would enjoy a warm spot in bright indirect light and soil moisture all the time during spring and summer, just like a tropical canopy. During winter and autumn, the soil should almost dry out between watering. To keep him super happy use house plant food every month. To prevent crispy edges of leaves maintain a higher level of humidity by putting the pot on a tray filled in with water and clay pebbles. Make sure that the pot does not touch the water.
