Philodendron Brasil, also known as the Sweetheart Plant, or Heart-Leaf, due to its beautiful leaf shape. The plant has stunning golden-yellow variegation and will make an amazing statement plant. Fast growing and easy to care philodendron is currently climbing on a trellis but can be removed to wrap around a moss pole or let it hang from the top shelf or macrame.

Philodendrons would enjoy a warm spot in bright indirect light and be watered when the soil dries out. Make sure that the pot does not touch the water. They like to climb on trees so we advise providing a moss pole to encourage the plant to grow faster and produce bigger leaves. Moss poles help to maintain an adequate level of humidity as well as provide beauty and something to climb on. Mist the plant and moss pole every few days or every day during summertime.

I did not expect the items in my order to be so stunning and utterly joyous! The moss just sprang into verdant glory as soon as I unshackled it from its wax paper and unleashed it in its prepared spot in the miniature Lord of the Rings mood garden 🤪 As I said to the postie, forget snow to eskimos, we are shipping moss to Argyll! Lovely wee selection. The moss pole with cup is brilliantly designed and will make my monstera much happier in a room heated with a log burner and near a radiator. She is already very tolerant and happy but this will hopefully set her up for winter. A daily drench of warmed rainwater on that pole will recreate Amazonia for a plant that in my experience loves heat as long as humidity is good and I’m confident she will take over the world. Please never stop doing extensions!
