Q & A
Would the mini moss pole fit the 60cm base pole? Or are they different to the 30cm option listed with the extendable poles?
Hi, thank you for your question. The mini moss poles and other bamboo poles do not fit with extendable poles.
Only the 30cm or 60cm extensions fit into the extendable poles.
Hope this helps!

The pole itself is very well prepared and arrived in great condition. However, it’s so heavy and the bamboo is so very thin that I can’t get to to stand upright in the pot, which is a great shame. It would be better to have a flattened stick shaped pole or some sort of wider base to better allow me to use this pole. As heartbreaking as it is, I can’t see how this won’t end with my pot tipping over often until my plant breaks!
Hi Julie,
Thank you for your feedback. We have made a whole lot of these moss poles, so please get in touch if you have any questions about them before throwing them away – we have lots of advice!
We have had some very stormy weather up here so our sphagnum is pretty wet. This is what is making the poles a bit heavier. All you need to do is let them dry out a bit (or you can give them a wee squeeze), you will find the pole much lighter when it loses some water weight. I don’t recommend trying to get rid of all the water, as you want them moist.
I hope this helps and you will reconsider using them once you have let them lose some moisture.
Thank you,
Craig
