Key Features:

  • Air-Purifying: The Dieffenbachia ‘Camilla’ helps cleanse the air by filtering out harmful toxins, improving indoor air quality and creating a fresher, healthier space.
  • Easy to Care For: This plant is incredibly low-maintenance and forgiving, making it a great choice for beginners. It thrives in indirect light and only needs occasional watering, making it a stress-free addition to your home.
  • Adaptable to Various Light Conditions: While it prefers bright, indirect light, the Dieffenbachia ‘Camilla’ can also tolerate lower light environments, making it versatile for placement in different parts of your home or office.
  • Resilient and Hardy: Known for its durability, this plant can withstand less-than-perfect conditions, including occasional missed watering, making it a reliable and long-lasting houseplant.

Care Guide:

  • Light: The Dieffenbachia ‘Camilla’ does best in bright, indirect light but can also adapt to low light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause leaf burn.
  • Watering: Water when the top 3-4cm of soil feel dry. Ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent overwatering and root rot. During winter, reduce watering as the plant’s growth slows down.
  • Humidity: This tropical plant enjoys higher humidity levels, but it can tolerate average household humidity. Misting the leaves occasionally can help keep them vibrant and healthy.
  • Temperature: Keep the plant in a warm environment, ideally between 18-24°C (65-75°F). Avoid cold draughts or sudden temperature changes, which can stress the plant.
  • Fertilisation: Feed your Dieffenbachia ‘Camilla’ with a balanced liquid fertiliser every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) to encourage healthy growth.

Common Issues:

  • Yellowing Leaves: This may be a sign of overwatering or poor drainage. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between watering’s.
  • Brown Leaf Edges: Often caused by low humidity or dry air. Increase humidity by misting or placing the plant on a humidity tray.
  • Pests: Keep an eye out for common pests like spider mites or aphids. If detected, treat the plant with neem oil or insecticidal soap.

  • Authentic Photos of Our Plants: We take every photo you see, showcasing the actual plants we offer. Each plant is selected randomly unless otherwise stated, adding a touch of surprise to your order.
