The plant would enjoy a warm spot in bright indirect light and be watered when the top of the soil dries out. Cebu Blye likes to climb on trees in a natural environment so we advise adding a moss pole to encourage the plant to grow faster and produce bigger leaves but you can keep it also as a hanging plant.
Not Pet Friendly
☀️☀️▫️ (Medium)
The Baltic Blue thrives in bright, indirect light. It’s best to place it near a window where the sunlight is filtered through a curtain. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, so keep it a bit shaded for the best leaf colour and growth.
💧💧▫️ (Medium)
Water your Baltic Blue when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Ensure the pot has good drainage to avoid waterlogging, which can lead to root rot. In winter, reduce watering but don’t let the soil completely dry out.
🌡️🌡️🌡️ (Warm)
This plant prefers a warm environment typical of most indoor settings. Aim to keep the temperature between 18°C and 24°C. Avoid draughty areas or locations near heating vents that could cause sudden temperature changes.
💦💦▫️ (Moderate)
Baltic Blue enjoys a bit of humidity. If your home is very dry, especially in winter, consider using a humidifier or placing a water tray near the plant to boost the moisture content in the air.
Consider repotting your Baltic Blue every 2-3 years or when it outgrows its pot. Use a well-draining potting mix designed for aroids, which you can find on our website. This will help maintain the health of your plant and encourage growth.
Not Pet Friendly 🚫
Keep this plant out of reach of pets as it can be harmful if ingested.
