Stephania Erecta is a stunning and easy-to-care houseplant, planted in a vintage looking terracotta pot with a saucer and black decorative pebbles on the top.
You will receive one caudex without leaves in a 14cm terracotta planter, the plant went into dromacy but will be ready to regrow soon. Check our description how to ”wake up” the plant from dormacy.
This picture is an example of how the plant will look like 🙂
The plant goes into dormancy once a year around winter time (but may not go into dormancy at all or may happen at a different time of the year), when leaves start turning yellow you can decrease watering. When the plant has no leaves left move it into a darker and colder spot.
After the dormancy ”wakes up” the plant by soaking the caudex in lukewarm water for 24-48h, then move back into the soil. Keep in a warm and humid envouiment. You can even place the plant in a large zip bag to increase humidity. open every day for a 1-2 minute to allow access of fresh air.
Caudex like this plant can get sunburnt, so please keep it somewhere sunny but never in direct full sunlight.
It is easy to overwater this plant, so let the soil almost completely dry out before watering. In Winter the plant will enter dormancy so resist watering it more than once a month!
Give the plant an occasional mist and try to keep humidity over 60%.
The plant is toxic to pets.
It should just take a few seconds but can take up to a minute to write your guide.

Great but pot pot arrived damaged despite being well packaged – probably bad luck. Got quick refund.
