☀️ Light
☀️☀️▫️ (Medium)
The Aluminium Plant enjoys bright, indirect light. It’s best placed in a spot where it will receive plenty of light without being exposed to harsh midday sun, which can scorch its leaves.
💧 Water
💧💧▫️ (Medium)
Water your Pilea Cadierei when the top layer of soil feels dry to the touch. Ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent waterlogging, which can lead to root rot.
🌡️️ Temperature
🌡️️🌡️️▫️ (Average)
This plant prefers typical indoor temperatures from 18°C to 24°C. Try to avoid sudden temperature drops and cold drafts, which can stress the plant.
💦 Humidity
💦💦▫️ (Moderate)
Pilea Cadierei thrives in a moderately humid environment, making it perfect for terrariums and vivariums. Regular misting or a pebble tray can help increase humidity levels.
💦 Repotting
Repot your Aluminium Plant every 1-2 years or when it outgrows its pot. Use a well-draining soil mix, ideally our Highland Moss premium potting mix, to encourage healthy growth.

Happy planting!
Gorgeous little plant. Having recently had my first houseplant infestation of pests (seemed like all of them…) I was nervous about my new plants potentially bringing in something extra, or that mine would infect the new ones. I needn’t have worried. I did quarantine them and carried out daily inspections with a magnifying glass, (I know – need to get out more…) and absolutely nothing has hitched a ride to the sunny south.
