Description
I would like to introduce Mi Mi. She is a really cute Monstera Minima but you can see her using other names like Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma, Cheese Plant Lite, Mini Monstera and Philodendron Piccolo. Uncommon but easy to care and fast-growing plant native to Thailand and Malaysia. Her leaves are much smaller than Monstera Deliciosa and growth is pretty fast. If you like to watch your plant grow and don’t want to wait weeks for a new leaf then Mi Mi is a perfect plant for you!
This lovely plant loves a moss pole as the moisture draws out her aerial roots, giving them something to latch onto and helping her grow big and strong. We have green, pink or mixed moss poles available to pair with Mi Mi at a special bundle price. Just select add moss pole in the dropdown menu and then add a note with your order saying which colour you would like to have.
The plant is housed in a 14cm nursery pot. We have the pictured planter available in our shop!
Addon 50 cm fresh moss pole:
- pink
- classic green/brown
- mix of pink and green/brown
How to look after Mi Mi
Mi Mi would enjoy a warm spot in bright indirect light, keep soil slightly moist all the time but make sure that is not soggy, too much water and her leaves will turn yellow. To keep her super happy use house plant food every month. To prevent crispy edges of leaves, maintain humidity by putting the pot on a tray filled in with water and clay pebbles. Make sure that the pot does not touch water. To encourage grow and maintain humidity provide a moss pole, she loves to climb!
*Mi Mi is toxic to pets.*
