Spanish Moss is not a moss as well is not from Spain but it only makes this plant more interesting! Tillandsia usneoides, because this is his correct name belongs to the same family as pineapple and is native to Mexico, Central America, South America, Caribbean and the United States where lives on trees in swap areas. The Spanish moss is not a parasite and does not damage or take nutrients from trees on which he lives.
