Although the Cissus discolor is commonly named the “Begonia Vine,” the plant isn’t actually related to begonias at all. Despite its begonia-like, beautiful, eye catching leaves and shared nickname, it’s part of the grape family, Vitaceae. This family connection makes it a relative to the grapevines we’re more familiar with, even though the plants primary appeal is its ornamental foliage rather than any fruit.
Cissus discolour, also called begonia rex vine or red vine plant is a must-have for any plant lover!
This gorgeous vine plant grows nice and tall when you let it climb up a pole or looks great in a hanging basket.
The heart-shaped leaves are dark green with purple and silver colours.

Marimo Moss isn’t really a moss, it is a phenomenon of algae in a ball shape from the inside out! This naturally grows in freshwater lakes in Scotland, Estonia, Iceland, Japan and Australia.
There is a history of wonder and lore with Marimo Moss balls. The legend goes that two lovers who were forbidden together fell into a lake and their hearts turned into Marimo Moss! So now Marimo is said to bring your heart’s desire to both the giver and recipient of one.
