This is Harry, the Prince of Orange. This Philodendron is highly sought after and we have some beautiful specimens with large leaves in 17cm pots.
His new leaves grow in a bright orange and the mature leaves turn green and have red/orange veins.
The plants are approximately 40cm tall from the base of the pot.
How to look after Harry
- Harry would enjoy a warm spot in bright indirect light, keep soil slightly moist all the time but make sure that it is not soggy.
- To keep him super happy use house plant food every month.
- To prevent crispy edges of leaves, maintain humidity by putting the pot on a tray filled in with water and clay pebbles.
- Make sure that the pot does not touch water. To encourage grow and maintain humidity provide a moss pole.
*Harry is toxic to pets.*
