Description

I would like to introduce Matt, the Monstera Pinnatipartita. This is a rare Monstera from the South American rainforests. The exciting thing about Matt is how dramatically his leaves transform as he matures.

The plants are currently in an adolescent stage, but when they mature, the fenestrations in the leaves will become very deep, reaching the middle of the leaf, rather than the more typical splits seen in other Monstera’s.

The ideal way to grow your plant is with a moss pole, make sure to check out our range of made to order fresh moss poles.

You will receive the exact plant you choose in the options.

Additional information

Light

Has low light tolerance but will thrive in bright but indirect sunny spots

Watering

Keep soil moist but not wet. Try to keep watering to a routine once you acclimatise him to his new home. If leaves are yellowing then hold back on watering for a week or two.

Temperature

He will be happiest if kept at a cosy room temperature. He is somewhat resistant down to 10C but will have severely reduced growth and overall happiness.

Humidity

Monsteras love humidity and this guy is no different. If you do not have a humidifier, you can bunch Monsteras, Philodendrons, Pothos etc together and they will create a more humid environment for themselves.
