Oxalis triangularis, commonly called false shamrock. It is a perennial plant in the family Oxalidaceae. Easy to care houseplant with deep burgundy leaves and small flowers.
Please note the leaves open during the day and close at night. After travel stress the plant may required a few hours to start reacting to light. Keep it in a bright light and water when top of the soil dries out.
The plant goes into dormancy once a year around wintertime, and leaves will stop growing and opening. Wait until all leaves die and remove dead foliage. During dormancy keep the plant in a colder and darker spot, water lightly every few weeks and after 3 months move back to a bright and warm spot to let the plant grow back.
