Description
Monstera adansonii, also known as the Swiss Cheese Plant or Adanson’s Monstera, is a species of the Monstera genus. This plant is native to the rainforests of Central America, specifically Mexico and Panama.
Due to the size of the plant and high amount of leaves, there may be some cosmetic damage. The Monstera Adansonii has a tendency to push new leaves through the holes of older, mature leaves, causing the older leaves to tear when the new leaves unfurl. We try to spot it in advance and release the new leaves from the holes promptly, but it may not always be possible, resulting in torn leaves.
