Meet the Maker
Hi, my name is Oliwia, and I specialize in creating handmade macrame pieces and more. Crafting macrame has been both a hobby and a profession for me since I started my independent business – Madame Olice Macrame. Since childhood, I have been fascinated with handmade decorations, and the art of macrame captivated me when I discovered it in Poland a year ago. The possibilities of creating beautiful pieces with cords and the passion it ignites in me have inspired me to explore and experiment with various techniques.
I take pride in using eco-friendly cords, wooden accessories, and vintage or second-hand materials to create unique pieces in a sustainable way while minimizing waste. Although I am self-taught, I have taken online courses and watched videos to acquire knowledge and techniques, which have enabled me to create personalized key rings, plant holders, seasonal decorations, dummy clips, coasters, wall art, and picture frames.
I am always seeking inspiration for new projects. Every day, I strive to better my skills and create something new and innovative. With my macrame pieces, I hope to bring joy and a touch of uniqueness to my clients’ lives.
