In this workshop, you will be provided with all the materials and tools you need to make your very own kokedama. This includes a selection of plants, moss, potting mix, and all the tools necessary to create your unique piece of living art. We will guide you step by step through the process, providing helpful tips and tricks to ensure your kokedama is a success.

At the end of the workshop, you will take home your own beautiful kokedama, ready to be displayed and enjoyed in your home, workplace or given as a gift. Whether you are a plant pro or a beginner, this workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to learn about this traditional Japanese art form and create their very own piece of living art.

The workshop fee includes all materials, plants, moss, potting mix, and use of tools needed to create one kokedama. Come join us for a fun and educational experience, and take home a beautiful piece of living art to enjoy for years to come!

What you will do

You will learn the technique of creating a kokedama, including selecting plants, preparing the soil and moss, and shaping the kokedama. We will also teach you how to care for it at home.



What is included

The price includes all the materials required to make your Kokedama, you do not need to bring anything.

We will provide instructions step by step on how to create your kokedama and aftercare instructions as well as answer all your questions!

Duration

Please reserve a minimum of 60 minutes for the workshop.

What is a kokedama?

Kokedama is a form of Japanese gardening that involves wrapping a plant’s roots in moss and creating a ball-shaped structure, which is then hung or displayed on a surface.

Plants Variety

The variety of plants which we will use in the workshop depends on our fresh stock and may vary. The picture of this kokedama represents an example of our plants.

What I need to bring

You are welcome to bring gloves, your own non-alcoholic drink, snacks and an apron. Don’t forget to bring also your good mood and creativity 😉

Everything else will be provided!

Will food be provided?

No, food will not be provided at this workshop. Please bring your own drink or snacks.

Can I bring my partner?

Due to limited space, we do not allow participants to bring a partner without a ticket. However, if you have any concerns, please contact us to discuss the exemption.

Can children attend the workshop?

Yes, we allow children from the age of 9 years old to participate in the workshop, as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who has purchased a ticket for the workshop.

Are there any special requirements for children attending the workshop?

No, there are no special requirements for children attending the workshop, but they must be able to follow instructions and handle the tools and materials properly. The parent or guardian must take full responsibility for their child and ensure that they do not interrupt or disturb other participants in the workshop. If the child has any special needs, please inform us before the workshop.

Can I make more than one Kokedama during the workshop?

The workshop fee covers one kokedama, but if you would like to make more and there is enough time, you can purchase additional kokedama kits to make during the workshop or take it home to make later. Please let us know in advance if you plan to make more than one kokedama, so we can ensure there are enough materials available.
