Although the Cissus discolour is commonly named the “Begonia Vine,” the plant isn’t related to begonias. Despite its begonia-like, beautiful, eye-catching leaves and shared nickname, it’s part of the grape family, Vitaceae. This family connection makes it a relative to the grapevines we’re more familiar with, even though the plant’s primary appeal is its ornamental foliage rather than any fruit.
You will receive 10 fresh-cut unrooted wet sticks (stem with node without leaves).
We recommend propagating it in sphagnum moss. Keep in high humidity and a warm +21-degree spot.
Please be aware that propagation is not always successful, we are happy to provide as much advice and support as possible during the propagation journey but the success rate depends on many factors which are out of our control.
